Youth Ministry

Hi my name is Meredith Troyan and I am the Youth Minister for the grouping. I have been in Youth Ministry for 6 years. Prior to that , I was a substitute teacher for the Diosese of Pittsburgh and also taught middle school for a year. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Educational Studies from Chatham University. I am currently working on my Masters Degree in Theology at Franciscan University of Steubenville. 
Working with the teens in this grouping has been a wonderful experience. I hope to meet more of the teens throughout the years. It is my hope to help your children develop a deeper faith once their traditional formation is complete. I hope to share my love of the Lord with them through service activites, Bible Studies and other events held throughout the year. Please feel free to reach out to me at any time. 

Youth Ministry is a group for Middle School (6th-8th grade) and High School (9th-12th Grade) students to deepen their faith in Christ through service and scripture. Our mission is also to help encounge teens to build a lasting relationship with Christ and reinforce that their faith does not end with Confirmation. 

For the 2019-2020 School year we will be working with Lifeteen a Catholic Youth Ministry Program that promotes a strong relationship with God. Their mission is:

As a Eucharist-centered movement within the Roman Catholic Church, Life Teen leads teenagers and their families into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church. With the Blessed Virgin Mary as our intercessor and guide, Life Teen seeks to unleash the fullness of the Sacramental power present within the young Church.
